Forum Post: R7FS5D97C3A01CFB parts difference
We’re using a R7FS5D97C3A01CFB#AA0 part in several products now…. I’ve got some channel strangeness with it and need to understand what is going on with the line. Digikey has discontinued the #AA0 part and is non-stocking the #BA0 part. Mouser looks to have stock of the #AA0 part and isn’t stocking the #BA0 part but has it marked as a new product. Renesas website is showing the #AA0 part as mass production status with like 12 distributors. They are showing the #BA0 part as mass production status with 0 distributors. So what’s the difference between the #AA0 and #BA0 part? What’s Renasas saying about life cycle on these?

Forum Post: RE: FIT Modul
Hello Simon, Please also have a look at link below as well. - Perre renesasrulz.com/.../why-rx-fit-does-not-support-rtc-on-rx63n-anymore Ref Gerald (Aug. 28. 2018): The latest versions of e2studio have added the 'Smart Configurator' tool that works with FIT. This has required updates to the FIT modules by the inclusion of additional SC configuration files. My guess is that it is because the RX63N has become a non-promotional device due to newer devices becoming available, and that further development of FIT for it has ceased. So when improvements to the BSP or RTC modules are developed they don't want to keep updating the RX63N support. I would guess that if you stick with FIT package v111 for both RTC and BSP, and any other dependent modules, there should be no problems. But if you mix and match BSP and RTC versions across FIT package releases, then there might be compatibility issues.

Forum Post: Create custom SSP Module
We want to package a protocol implementation that we made into an SSP Module to distribute it internally. I have found the guide https://www.renesas.com/jp/ja/doc/products/renesas-synergy/apn/r11an0132eu0103-synergy-ssp-module-development-guide.pdf but it seems to be outdated as it refers to SSP 1.2.0 and the .module_descriptions folder are nowhere to be found on my drive except in a directory of a synergy example that uses SSP 1.2.0. How to go about making our own module for internal distribution?
↧
Forum Post: RE: Create custom SSP Module
The XML files have been moved from the .module_descriptions folder in the project, to the folder internal\projectgen\arm\modules under the e2studio installation being used (upto and including e2studio 7.8.0).
