Hello all, Now I'm using TAU timer 07 as an interrupt source for DTC transfer. I got a problem that when I set TDR value to 0, the DTC run incorrectly (I set DTCCT to 2 so it should only transfers two times, but it transfers three times instead of and the DTCCT go to 254 instead of 0). Do you know how to fix this, is this a problem from HW. Thank you,

Are they brand new parts? If so, then it should not be the case. For security I mean all the means to protect against hacking. JTAG, for example, can be permanently disabled to prevent unauthorized access to the device.

Thank you. I followed the example but when I build I have this error: "The symbol GX_EXTENDED_UNICODE_SUPPORT must be defined to support the Studio project settings". If I define it in e2studio, every time that I generate the output files from Guix it is deleted, so it seems that I have to define it in Guix but I can't find this option.

Forum Post: CAN SC generate drivers with the same API as the Applilet ones?
I am trying to use Smart Configurator to generate code that matches the code supplied with the RSKRX113 ie the Serial port driver. SC generates functions with the function name prefixed r_ and then puts a prototype in the include file with prefix R_. What's going on? How does this ever compile or link successfully? The SC / IAR integration video ( www.renesas.com/.../smart-configurator-video-iarewrx-fit.html ) only shows how to build a dummy main project and then add a project link to the output from SC, not how to add SC generated drivers to a project that previously contained drivers created with Applilet. Do I have to start from scratch with SC generated drivers?

Forum Post: RE: RX65N Flash Access Window (FAW) register questions ?
Thanks CS Yep , Yes I saw this chapter in the RX flash programming manual; the behavior of the FAW.FSPR bit matches my understanding. The Figure 7.2 documentation regarding FAWS/FAWE clarifies my understanding about when the window is enforced. FAWS == FAWE disables the access window (all destructive accesses are allowed), FAWS > FAWE makes the access window 0-length (no destructive accesses are allowed), FAWS < FAWE is normal window access (finite region of MCU code flash allows destructive accesses). I don't think there's a way to set the last (highest) block of code flash as being accessible (within a finite window). FAWE max = 0x7FF, which points to the last block of code flash at 0xFFFFE000. The block pointed to by FAWE is the highest protected block. So there's no way to include the last block in a writable access window. That may be by design, to protect the boot vector at 0xFFFFFFFC and vector tables. The high bit (bit 11) of the FAWS and FAWE bitfields is confusing; FAWS:11 apparently should always be set to 0, but FAWE:11 should be set to 1 if trying to define an access window whose end is 0x00000000. Maybe this is how one includes the last block of code flash in the access window; FAWE max = 0x800 would be greater than FAWS, defining a valid window.

Forum Post: RX65N T4 TCP/IP - Communication with the Phy possible, but no Ethernet data.
Hello everybody, since my plan to get the current T4 TCP / IP stack running on the Rx63N failed, i replaced the RX63 with an RX65N. More precisely, the R5F65N9ADFP. We have been running hardware (RX63N) with the old ZeroCopy TCP / IP stack for some time and always have problems with stability. However, I can't get the T4 stack to run on our hardware. We use a PHY of type DP83640TVV / NOPB. Communication with the PHY seems to be working. The methods tcpudp_open etc. are executed without errors. However, I don't get any TCP data into the stack. Cannot ping the board. Neither in DHCP nor in Static IP mode. I almost rule out a hardware problem. Have been running the board for a while with the old zero copy IP stack.
