We have not completely gotten to the cause of the issue yet, but it does appear to be some critical timing issue on an FPGA that is on the external bus, even though we only see it with certain batch codes of the Rx621 devices. We can detect it in firmware and get around it that way. A new build of the FPGA also gets rid of the issue. So at this stage, we are closing this. Thanks for the input and suggestions. :)
