Forum Post: [A/D converter] How to detect A/D abnormal, disconnect abnormal and short abnormal

I am working with ADC on MCU SH7147 (Renesas), get digital data from analog sensor  i have 2 sensor, to get car speed and brake speed each other.The requirement want to annouce an error occur on sensor (sensor disconnect, abnormal)  or A/D convert abnormal. I don't know how to detect those error in MCU Please help me, thank you
