The strategy of creating a new project / workspace in the same project folder works straightforward since it will reuse and load the existing configuration.xml and .pincfg files. This means the IAR project files will be created based on the existing Synergy settings. Once the project is created you only have to regenerate the files in the SSC. From that point you should be ready to build and download your application to the target. All the IDE settings will be ready. I can only recommend to maybe delete the previous generated SSP files in the root project folder to avoid any conflicts with GCC/IAR.
