Hi Architect- Unfortunately, that is a limitation of the hardware. The flash sequencer on the 64M will not allow reading and writing of data flash simultaneously. You can, however, read and write code flash (ROM data) simultaneously so long as it obeys the boundary rules (see table 63.18 in section 63.14.2 in the RX64M Hardware Manual). Perhaps this can be a viable alternative. -Greg
