Forum Post: GUIX issues

Hi all, I'm using the latest Synergy platform ( 4.2.0.012 ) and I have issues with GUIX. First of all, there are typos in the auto generated code which makes it hard to use: 1) if you try to use the  gx_context_font_get api function, it will not compile as this function refers to _gxe_context_font_gete in gx_api.h. Note the extra 'e' at the end. 2) The animation_delete function mentioned in the documentation, doesn't exist. Why? because there is a typo in gx_api.h and if you search, you'll find gx_animatin_delete. Note the missing 'o' in animation. Now, one issue I have also is with the animations in general. I think the GUIX documentation lacks details because it doesn't do what I think it should be doing. I tried using a SLIDE OUT animation on a prompt within a window so I can make the text scroll. Once the animation is finished, the prompt dissapears from the screen. The prompt handler receives a GX_EVENT_HIDE and there is nothing I can do about it. Even if I call  gx_widget_show on my prompt, it will not reappear on the screen. So is there something I do not understand? or is there a bug in GUIX? Also, I tried to create a Fade out animation. The documentation says that I need to create a canvas in order to do this. I tried my best to create a canvas, trying to figure out what to put in the api function's parameters, but when I call  _gx_animation_canvas_define , the application freezes. So is there something I do not understand? Or is there a bug in GUIX? Anybody else ran into these issues? Looking forward for comments / support. Thanks you.
