There are 3 kinds of system clocks for RL78G13 1. Main System Clock 2. SubSystem Clock 3. Low-Speed on-chip oscillator High-Speed System Clock can be selected for Main System Clock. At this point High-Speed System Clock is divided into two types : X1 and X2. X1: Crystal Oscillation X2: External input clock Why only X2 is named as External ? Isn`t it necessary to get named X1 as External ? I think both of them are External but in datasheet X1 doesn`t have ''External'' prefix.
