Dear I would like to have information about planning a self firmware upgrade the simplest method is also used in other platform: 1) have a file with the program in one of the sotrage units or in a internal storage (a flash bank many parts number have big size of flash) or an external flash or sd card spi 2) trigger an event in software layer that provides for the self programming looking device specified with file_name_x in the new user program. It is clearly important to have an idea if these modes of upgrade will be provided for before investing in the development of this new platform otherwise everything as indicated in the documentation essentially loses importance reprogramming and its remote flexibility is an absolute necessity. for example in my case I have a line though the cpu 8-connected can bus and only one connected to the LAN 1) I would download tftp in the file to the number 1 cpu 2) deliver via can bus to the others which will store in local storage 3) send a broadcast command (via CAN) for run a firmware upgrade to all boards who will take steps independently to reprogram itself. clearly all this is already working with Fujitsu platforms but I would go to a more performqante controller with integrated TFT LAN CAN and QSPI for storage a large graphic images
