You can always download the memory location where the Trace buffer is located from e2studio, to a file, and open that file in TraceX. After running the processor for a while (with Event Trace enabled in the ThreadX source properties), stop the processor. Open a memory window, and set a monitor at "&g_tx_trace_buffer", then click The Export button (1010 with a up arrow under it) in the top right of the Memory window, (The start address for the export should be populated correctly, but not the End address or length), set the length to the length of the Trace Buffer (65536 by default), choose the format to be "RAW Binary"  and set the file name to somewhere something .trx. Then double clicking on the .trx file should launch TraceX, and open the file (assuming .trx files are associated with TraceX), otherwise, open TraceX, and open the file from there.
